Deep Drain Super Sonde - 8m: A Sonde generates a 33 KHz signal from a battery-powered oscillator. 1.5 V AA sized battery, depth to 8m (subject to conditions). It is built as a self-contained watertight unit, designed to be attached to a drain rod, floats, or other appropriate means of traversing along a length of non-metallic pipe. Unlike other accessories this does not require a connection to the Genny.

Cable Locators and their associated accessories are used to locate buried services. The services are detected using one of three modes. Power mode 50-60 Hz - used to trace live loaded and energised services. Radio Mode 15-30 KHz – used to trace metallic services that may not have a power signal present e.g. Telecoms cable, metallic gas and water pipes.
